Initiating the Sabrage

Prepare yourself by fixing your thumb into the bottle's punt and sliding your knife's blunt edge slowly along the seam to ready your arm for the proper motion. Ensure you're aiming the bottle away from any guests.

THE BLADE: Hand-forged by skilled artisans with a fine-crafted design, about 1.5 inches wide and 3mm thick. Note: The blade for the Champagne Knife Opener is not designed to be sharp.

THE HANDLE: Hand-cut and hand-smoothed, 5.8 inches (15cm), delicately carved by skilled artisanal carpenters.

THE FINISH: Each Champagne Saber handle is finished with a laser-cut stainless steel State of California hand-affixed design at the top of the handle. The raw stainless steel contrasts with the embellished gold of the handle to create a dynamic aesthetic contrast.
